I've published in a number of places, such as Newsday, Cracked Magazine, the Long Island Voice, the Huntington-Smithtown News, Howard Stern's book, Private Parts, and a bunch of other publications.

Most of these cartoons are old, as I've been on a self-imposed hiatus for the past 10 years trying to raise a family, working in the publishing biz, and earning two masters degrees (one down, one to go).

I won some awards for editorial cartooning. As an undergraduate student at Stony Brook University, I won the 1991 Mark of Excellence Award, sponsored by the Society of Professional Journalists. In 1996 and 1997, I won First Place and Third Place, respectively, in the Better Newspaper Contest, sponsored by the New York Press Association. I really haven't bothered with cartooning since 1999. I don't really know what awards mean, but I guess they're good in some way.

So, here are some things I did in the past, going back to my college days at the Stony Brook Statesman in 1990, through 1998, as a freelance and staff cartoonist. The links below will lead you to some samples from the past. Some of these cartoons are painful to look at--especially when I see how poorly drawn or constructed they were.

These cartoons aren't the "best," nor are they even close. They're just random examples.

I hope to add more stuff down the road.
